Quick Tips Series: Happy Commuter, Happy Nurse

Your commute to work can be a source of continuous frustration.  Traffic, miles and other crazy drivers (not you, of course!) stress you to the max. But with a few changes to your routine, you can make your travels to and from the job something to look forward to. Make commute time you time. Practice stress management skills, learn something new or, most importantly, stay awake and safe. Follow these tips and share with friends and coworkers.

    To stay awake during my 1 hr commute home, I’ve found it really helps to bring a cup of crushed ice with me and take a mouthful every now and then.
